Control Components

Relays, contactors, motor-control devices, switches and other industrial control components.

Everyday control. Exact specifications.

Include the ratings and the complete part code.

Control components often have similar housings but different coils, contact arrangements and ratings. Send the complete manufacturer code, including suffixes, rather than only the product-family name.

For an assembly, identify whether you need the whole unit or a separately replaceable item such as a coil, contact block, socket or operator.

Component requests

  • Control and interface relays
  • Contactors and specified motor starters
  • Overload relays and associated accessories
  • Push buttons, selector switches and pilot lights
  • Limit switches and control operators
  • Relay sockets, contact blocks and terminals

For a replacement, photograph the label and the assembly.

A label identifies the part, while a wider photograph can show sockets, auxiliary blocks or mounting components that also need consideration. List the required items and quantities individually.

For safety-related control functions, identify the exact applicable requirements and have the selection checked by the responsible qualified professional. A general-purpose component should not be treated as a safety-rated replacement.
